We are starting a very interesting and extremely unique project: a 1:43 scale model of one of the largest wheeled non-railroad chassis in the world - the 140-ton transport MAZ-7904 with payload capacity of 220 tons developed to carry the Soviet response to the US Peacekeeper missile. The model will be gigantic in size: 75 cm (30 inches) long, almost 16 cm (6.5 inches) wide and only 8 cm (3.2 inches) high. |

RO Models workshop is on the final stages of preparation of the series of TATRA-111 models in 1:43 scale. The quality of these models will be similar to the models of TATRA-138 and TATRA-148 that have been made earlier. RO Models will offer us in 2010-2011 civilian, military (WWII and post-WWII), as well as construction vehicles on that chassis. TATRA-111 is a part of a larger TATRA program developed by RO Models that will be communicated later. |

By.Volk and GMM Minigrad jointly released two models of the EW-25 excavator on two different 6x6 chassis: Ural-4320-0911-030 and KamAZ-53228. Chassis of Ural-4320-0911-030 and KamAZ-53228 were designed and manufactured by GMM Minigrad while the excavator body was made by By.Volk. These vehicles are widely used in the Byelorussian Army and can be ordered in military colors (pictures of army variations are coming soon). Models are currently available for $375 + shipping.

I would like to seek your input for 2009 production plans of limited edition (20 copies of each) 1:43 scale resin armor similar in quality to YVS Models (MZKT). We have estimated the price of these models to be in the $200-$300 range. Our options include all tanks, APCs, IFVs and vehicles on their chassis. Over the last three or four years, I received several requests to re-order 1:43 scale models of the US Army HET-M1070. All of them came from the solders who drive these vehicles (back at home or overseas) or their families. These models were produced before in a very limited numbers (if I am not mistaking, only 3 copies were made). Currently, the price to order a single model in resin is $750 (tractor + semitrailer, no load). In an effort to bring the cost down I decided to seek feedback from you and to see if anybody else would be interested in a similar model. The KB "Design" workshop with participation from the Minigrad group will start making models of the Ural-4320-45 family in 1:43 scale. Models are made in traditional Minigrad style: cabins and elements of suspension are made of metal; bodies and other details - of resin. Models were designed using computer technologies, and details were cast using industrial equipment. Currently, two first models are ready: Ural-4320-44 and Ural-5557-44. |
